Dr. Wenbin Yu leads AnalySwift’s technology and research efforts, and he is the primary developer of its software technologies. Dr. Yu is is also a professor in the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue University since 2013, and he received his PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2002. He was a faculty member in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Utah State University during 2003 to 2013. He also serves as the Director for the Composites Design and Manufacturing HUB (cdmHUB.org). His expertise is in micromechanics and structural mechanics with applications to composite/smart materials. He has authored/co-authored 200+ journal papers and refereed conference papers and developed seven computer codes which are being used by thousands in government labs, universities, research institutes, and companies. His research has been funded by both federal agencies and private industry. He is an ASME Fellow and AIAA Associate Fellow. He serves on the editorial board for six international journals.
