Drawing on cutting-edge university research, SwiftComp™ provides an efficient yet accurate tool for computational modeling of composite materials and structures. It can be used either independently as a tool for virtual testing of composites or as a plugin to power conventional FEA codes with high-fidelity modeling for composites. SwiftComp represents a true multiscale technology which provides the best models at the speed of engineering design to capture both anisotropy and heterogeneity of composite constituents at the microscopic scale. Based on the recently invented Mechanics of Structure Genome, SwiftComp not only saves orders of magnitude computing time and resources without sacrificing the accuracy, but also enables engineers to tackle complex problems unreachable by conventional methods.
Webinar Outline
- Challenges of modeling composites
- Traditional composite modeling approaches
- Mechanics of Structure Genome and SwiftComp
- Example problems SwiftComp can solve
- SwiftComp Demo, examples for aerospace industry
