About Analyswift

Located within one of the nation’s highest concentrations of advanced composites companies, AnalySwift offers users an unprecedented combination of efficiency and accuracy in multiphysics modeling.  Drawing on cutting edge university technology, AnalySwift’s uniquely powerful solutions provide customers a competitive advantage through drastic reductions in engineering time, virtual testing earlier in the design process, and handling of more complex composite structures. Licensed from Purdue University, Utah State University, and Georgia Institute of Technology, our technologies deliver the accuracy of detailed 3D FEA at the efficiency of simple engineering models, cutting analysis time by orders of magnitude.

  • Wenbin Yu, PhD Chief Technology Officer

CTO of AnalySwift and Professor in the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue University, Dr. Wenbin Yu received his PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2002. With expertise in composite micromechanics and structural mechanics, Dr. Yu is also the Associate Director of the Composites Design and Manufacturing HUB (cdmHUB), and Director of Composite Virtual Factory HUB (cvfHUB).

  • Allan Wood, MBA President & CEO

President & CEO of AnalySwift, Mr. Allan Wood commercialized software and other technologies developed at Utah State University prior to the launch of AnalySwift in 2011. Mr. Wood received his MBA (entrepreneurship emphasis) at the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University in 2005, where he previously received is B.S. with dual majors in Marketing and Finance.

  • Dewey H. Hodges, PhD Senior Advisor to AnalySwift

Senior Advisor to AnalySwift, Dr. Dewey Hodges is a Professor in the School of Aerospace Engineering at Georgia Tech, where he specializes in theoretical, applied, and computational mechanics with a focus on aeroelasticity and rotorcraft dynamics, structural mechanics and structural dynamics (including FEM), and classical multibody dynamics. Dr. Hodges received his PhD from Stanford University in 1973.

  • Hui Chen, PhD Senior Advisor to AnalySwift

Senior Advisor to AnalySwift, Dr. Hui Chen received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University’s Pratt School of Engineering in 2004. Dr. Chen has served as Senior Structural Analyst at GulfStream Aerospace Corporation, and he has extensive knowledge in solid mechanics, computational mechanics, linear/nonlinear FEA, mechanics of composites, and nonlinear dynamics.
