AnalySwift in Final Round for Technology Commercialization Grant

Utah state capitol building AnalySwift presented Thursday in the final round of Utah’s Technology Commercialization & Innovation Program.  AnalySwift was previously awarded a similar grant in 2011 for enhancements to the VABS technology for modeling composite beams, such as wind turbine blades, helicopter blades, high aspect ratio wings, composite bridges, and other slender structures.  The current application will also fund further enhancements to the VABS program, which will be carried out at Utah State University.  The TCIP grants are part of the state’s economic development efforts to “increase entrepreneurship, innovation, and investment.”  The program is modeled after Utah’s successful USTAR Technology Commercialization Grant program that has now ended.
